“Had a wonderful stay in June! Beach was small so had to get to the beach early to reserve a spot. But everything else was perfect! The food at The Hatch was excellent and sitting outside and view of the ocean in such close proximity was beautiful! Nice to be able to take a dip in heated pool which was very clean. Rooms were small but updated. 8 minute drive to Watch Hill for some shopping and will explore the town of Westerly next time we stay here, because we will definitely be back.”

“Amazing location with private beach parking included! Continental breakfast was good. Has a Tesla destination charger which was a huge plus for us. Room was a bit small but clean. Outdoor pool is an added bonus as well.”

“Family of five who needed a place to crash 3 nights. The location is amazing. Right on the beach. Parking easy and assigned. Rooms were ok. The bathroom cabinet in room 109 was crooked and the back of it inside falling apart. Fridge worked great. View from ocean room.. so beautiful. Balcony, incredible and large. Very strict rules which I’m assuming is from past people partying. Rooms were quiet from other guests. Staff running it was helpful and great. Coffee was on first floor which was nice……

“the room was nice and clean had a water view and a view of the golf course from the balcony..pool and hot tub were nice jacuzzi tub.. close to the beach and you get a parking pass and walk on pass for a private part of the beach”

“We have been going to Shelter Harbor Inn for decades. After its most recent renovations, the Inn is absolutely beautiful. The design of the inn is lovely. The grounds are stunning. And very importantly, the staff is excellent. There was some confusion re our check in and both the young woman who checked us in (Laci V) and the young woman who checked us out (Laci M) handled the situation perfectly. Sadly, we were only there for one night most recently but we will return.”

“Location is close by to popular spots like Watch Hill and Mystic Beach. The cost is a lot cheaper compared to others in the area. Overall, a perfect stay for two people needing somewhere to spend the night while exploring RI and CT for a good price.”

“Honestly, you're better off camping. I think $40 per night would be fair for this motel. It's quiet and location is good, but run down and not well maintained.”
