Beach trip before going into the navy

Great room had everything. Good loaction on the beach. Next door to the pet spa. Unpleasnt smells in the hallway. Otherwise good stay.

Location/ Clean

Loved that we had our own wing on the first floor. We parked on the lower level of the parking garage. We did not have to use the elevator at all. We had a view of the beach and the pool. We thought that the pool would be loud but we did not hear the guest in the pools. The place was clean and had all the kitchen appliances you would need. No dishwasher. The only complaint that I would have is that the place did not have beach chairs or umbrella. However we brought our own chairs and also could have rented from the beach. Loved this place so much!! Would definitely book again!

Wonderful weekend

This is now our second time staying in room 122 and we love it and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It’s perfect for our small dogs and the property and pool area is wonderful plus easy access to beach. Thank you we will be staying here again.

A few quirks, but just what we needed

The room had a few minor maintenance issues, but was conveniently located in the building which made having our dog with us a bit easier.

Adequate

The hotel was adequate, but nothing fancy. There were cleanliness concerns like hair, stained sheets, general dust/sand, and a strange musty smell, possibly due to the location right next to the dog groomer. A majority of the other guests that this hotel brand attracted were less than classy and respectful of others. The area of town was somewhat safe and walkable but I wouldn't go out alone. I would not have booked had I known Vacasa was the owner due to a horrific previous experience, but this stay was uneventful so there were no reasons to have communication issues. I will say, if you arrive after 6, the doors are shut and locked so you can’t check in, but you don’t have the outside door code without checking in which seems counterproductive but other guests will let you in. I know this is not a big deal but the code to get into the room was 10 digits. Impossible to memorize and type with your hands full of beach items. Always had to get out the sticky note or phone to look at it while you type

The property was great! Clean and comfortable. I brought three teens with me. They enjoyed the pools and hot tubs as well as the ocean. It was less than 15 minutes to Broadway at the Beach and Topgolf.

My daughters senior year spring break

My daughter and I brought our two dogs to Myrtle Beach and loved our stay at Ocean Park. Very dog friendly and loved our accommodations. The staff was wonderful and Furology petspa and Retreat owners were wonderful. They are on site and take the best care you your pet. Even post the cutest pics on Instagram

Ocean Park Hotel

The hotel was clean. However the 10 digit door code was HORRIBLE. We did not ONE TIME get into our room without assistance. Either maintenance or the on duty clerk had to open our door with a key. The code might work after 10 trys. Its was a deal breaker. My family and i will never stay there again.

Overall, the property was clean, but there is a lot of sand on the floor with the expected it’s close to the beach one of the things we had an issue with was a toaster that was provided. Then I tossed on both sides, and the AC in the bedroom did not work.

Great location for a pup-friendly beach trip!

We really enjoyed the location of this unit. Private corner right by the pool was nice as our neighbors at the pool were not overly noisy. Not having rooms right beside you also helps when you have noise-reactive dogs staying with you. Literally steps from the beach; we will be back again!

3 day beach stay with dig

Unit is on the first floor overlooks the pool but no direct access from the pool area. There are two porches for sitting. Pools were very nice and clean, large jacuzzi was nice, grounds are maintained well…although this is an older property. Beach front access great, street location was not crowded or busy. Had a few problems with unit…tub not draining and shower pressure was way to strong, water pounds you….no hot water kitchen sink ,one of the air conditioners blasted really cold air…no adjustment. All were livable with since we were only staying three nights. I reported all to the front desk so hopefully for the next guest theses items will be corrected. Property is definitely dog friendly dogs all over the place… all were well behaved there is a dog waste spot in the parking garage that was clean and maintained.…..elevators were tough at times saw people waiting a while especially at check in times….and luggage carts are few and far between. I would stay here again on the first floor hopefully .

Nice but if use tobacco products wouldn’t recommend

I enjoyed the trip but if people smoke I would not advise this location due to the fact you can’t smoke on the balcony or property only on the beach which was very inconvenient Especially since my father was with me and is at high risk of a stroke/ heart attack. Besides that the stay was great. But if you use tobacco products this would not be a good place for you

Cozy convenient little getaway

Condo was exactly as described in listing. Directly on the beach and just a short drive from all the activities Myrtle Beach has to offer! Being on the 1st floor was a plus for us as it made it super easy to walk our dog when the urge came. The furology spa is literally next door to the room! We booked our fur baby with them on 1 day and they did a fabulous job. Very kind and genuine people. The hotel staff was mostly friendly too. Tip: Bring your own umbrella as the nearby beach charges $45 per day. Only a couple a negatives which is okay! The kitchen sink had a water leak which was repaired right away! They even worked with out schedule to come while we we out eating dinner! The rest area for pets was not clean. They could do a better job there. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely come back if given the opportunity.
