Location is excellent. Close to Broadway subway line and cross town bus. Museum of Natura History just a few blocks away as are both Riverside and Central Parks. Numerous dining options walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is an old building so some modern conveniences are lacking. No refrigerator in room, no vent fan in bathroom and carpeting in hallways is older. Nonetheless its a good play to stay.

Hotel Lucerne is convenient to Central Park, the 1 Subway, restaurants, shopping and the Museum of Natural History. The Nice Matin restaurant serves delicious food and has a nice atmosphere inside and out. Rooms were large (for NYC), clean and had comfortable beds. The doorman always had a smile for us coming and going.

We had a handicap accessible bathroom. Not needed. but the bathroom was not graded to the drain so the bathroom floor filled with water making the bathroom more dangerous.

Hotel staff is professional, friendly, and helpful. This was my third stay here, and I will definitely stay again on my next visit to NY. The location is perfect, with just about anything you need within walking distance.

littlfield the manager is not professional at all for such a desirable hotel. I ordered a room with two queen beds and a pull out and was given a room with two queen beds and No pull out when I checked in. When I notified staff of this they told me my room I ordered was booked and unavailable. I was referred to Kolby for a rate adjustment and spoke with him and he said he would get back to me but never did and then wouldn’t return any other phone calls. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR HIS UN PROFRESSIONALISM IN THIS MATTER.

It has a charming ambience. The restaurant that provides the "room service" is separate from the hotel and super expensive, with choices that many wouldn't normally order. Only a few other restaurants within reasonable walking distance, but priced more modestly with good food selections. The room was quiet, the bed was super comfortable, and the internet connection was reliable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I liked it.

This is a nice hotel in a great area. The only problem is the elevator. It’s very slow and does not accommodate the amount of guests in the hotel.

From check-in to check-out, everything was terrific. The staff is courteous, helpful and cheery. The room are impeccable and quiet with comfortable mattresses and pillows. Having Nice Matin downstairs is delightful since everything is delicious.

Our first stay at the Lucerne since covid. It was just as we last experienced it. Love the location! Staff are friendly and prompt. The restaurant downstairs was lively in the evenings, with a live band one night. Rooms could use a bit of an update, but perfectly reasonable
