“Very accommodating staff”

“Fabulous room, large, warm room (during a cold snap - hate entering a freezing hotel room), beautifully decorated, really friendly helpful staff, great breakfast, won't be staying anywhere else!”

“Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. ”

“Fantastic location right in the heart of Grassington — quiet, warm, and wonderfully cosy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s an easy stroll to the Yorkshire Dales Visitor Centre, and there’s a beautiful 4.5‑mile loop walk along the river that brings you back through Grass Wood Nature Reserve. It’s also a perfect base for exploring the wider Dales, with Aysgarth Falls, Hawes, the Ribblehead Viaduct and more all within easy reach. We'll definitely be booking Grassington Lodge……

“Friendly staff, warm and welcoming bar area with wood burner where we ate a good dinner. Hamper breakfast very adequate. All in all, very good value for money. Very comfortable bedroom with large modern bathroom.”

“The Den was fantastic - clean/plenty of room/kitchen facilities fantastic/bedroom fabulous and great walk in shower - could not fault a single thing about our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a great break - can walk into Leyburn for shops and good pubs and great walks of the The Dales.”

“Stephen and Lynne were most helpful when we found our car had a flat, filling the tire and directing us to a nearby repair shop. Breakfast was excellent and featured a nice selection. Service from the staff was excellent. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings as well and easy walking distance to restaurants, coffee, bakery and ice cream treats! ”
