"Good place to stay when looking to take in the Nanaimo Riviera. Walk to any number of restaurants, shops, venues, etc. Across the street from the waterfront and walking trails. Older building, but nicely taken care of and bed was comfy. We had a Queen Courtyard. Bit cramped for a long stay, but fine for a couple nights. Recommend any of the King rooms for longer stays."

Upon acquiring a remote control from the front desk, the fireplace did not light or work (no pilot light or?). The living room furnishing were sparse and could use some additional pieces such as a foot stool and an additional side table or comfortable chair. Or perhaps something with some better ambience like a plant or similar?"
