We inadvertently booked a superior double room for one person including breakfast, as a result there was only one towel in the room, when we asked for another towel they could have let us know the error, we did pay for the additional breakfasts. The room was dreadful as it was on the roadside with no opening windows. The curtains had to remain closed to muffle the sound of passing traffic. The furniture was rickety with a……

“Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband and I had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. Pet friendly. Would definitely recommend the Horseshoe Inn.”

“The staff were incredibly professional and helpful. I couldn't fault any one of them but I would mention abby particularly. The service was impeccable and the food was very food. Breakfast was so good and there was a lot of choice. We had a pool room which was perfectly positioned next to the pool which was clean with loungers and seating. I would highly recommend a visit here and we will certainly visit again.”

“We stayed over for the concert at the open air. The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again.”

“Great location, great parking, great spa steam room, jacuzzi and sauna. No aircon, tatty hotel and rooms, it needs money spending on this hotel. Breakfast is buffet style and not the best. Good staff”
