It was an amazing time at the North Rim Lodge and surrounding area. Would like to make this an annual event. The lodge, saloon, post office, and cabins were all rustic, charming, and provided a magical feel to our trip. But, the crown jewel was the majesty and splendor of the canyon itself. A perfect view of the creator’s handiwork of color, dramatic cliffs, towering pines, and sweeping panorama views dotted with the cutest chipmunks. Our last morning here, we sipped our coffee as we sat in the beautifully handcrafted wooden Adirondack chairs with new friends. Somewhere on a trail below us, someone was playing a hymn on flutelike instrument. Cabin was clean, staff were so friendly and the views incredible! We stayed with our young children and so couldn’t walk too much of the trails but there were so many beautiful views from around the lodge that it didn’t matter. Highly recommend this place. The lodge was so amazing and the views from the stone veranda out of this world. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and just yards away from the Roaring Springs canyon edge. The North Rim is just gorgeous. They said the ice machines quit last year. My biggest problem was that they offered a 10% discount for seniors. The desk said to call Hotel.com for a refund.
