“Had a great stay at the Membly! A really wonderful affordable accommodation right by the water! The location is stunning, beautiful views of the water from the lounge area and a quick jaunt to several beaches. The breakfast service was really easy and lovely! Very attentive staff and lots of options. The single/twin bed rooms were good for the price point, nothing to write home about, but very effective and had all the amenities one would need while traveling! The room got a little hot but……

“This was the culmination of a self-promise made 11 years ago. Then, we had afternoon tea on the patio, but can’t remember how we discovered Portloe. We said we should stay here if we ever visit Cornwall again. Fast forward to now; an unexpected opportunity to re-visit Cornwall. And it came to pass. “A bit tired. Could do with a good scrub and a coat of paint. Room ok. We only stayed a couple of nights. I would not have wanted to be there for a week. Pool and sauna very good. Shower by sauna very good. Hot tub and flooring near pool seemed like it could be cleaner. Breakfast buffet ok but much better ordering off the menu. Food in the restaurant for the evening meal was good. All staff were very good!”
