I despise leaving negative reviews but wanted to say the room we stayed in, the mattresses were warn out and uncomfortable and the thick vinyl inside the pillows may be there to keep things clean, they were like sleeping on a cheap piece of plastic instead of a pillow - while my wife and one of our kids were able to fall asleep, another kid and I were up until 5am tossing and turning. I should have just asked for another room but everyone was so tired and I didn't want to try and move our stuff to another room - a mistake on my part.
Also, while we were dressed modestly as we were heading to a Diamondback's game and were dressed for that event I was annoyed/amused by the scowling look and condescending check-in we had and when I asked what time breakfast was available the receptionist advised me the food was a la carte as if somehow we couldn't afford the breakfast because it wasn't a free buffet somewhere. I do not tend to be overly sensitive in these matters but I was taken aback by way the representative handled herself and had to wonder why she picked this line of work or perhaps how she's lasted this long if that is how she treats customers.
I would also point out, no fridge in the room despite having the cabinet for it was a bit of a disappointment.
While we will of course continue staying at Marriott as a whole, we will not be staying at this location again until they get their rooms and service staff up to par along with their other locations.
