This hotel is definitely past its prime, but I found it very comfortable for a 2 night stay. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV worked, the bathroom was old but manageable, and everyone that worked there was lovely. The double room I had was very small-- 2 double beds and no room for a chair and no space to put things on. I was alone in the room and I used the provided ironing board as a table to lay out my things. I ate both nights at the bar which was very good. The first night the bar was filled with VERY LOUD golfers, second night we got our food to go and ate it elsewhere in the hotel. There is housekeeping service in the rooms every day which is a rarity in many hotels now. The pool looked ok but I didn't use it. If I was again traveling solo and in the area, I would go back to the hotel because it fit my needs and was near endless hiking trails.
