"The mom and daughter team definitely were the best part of the stay. It’s not nearly as bad as other reviews make it out to be. The rooms definitely need to be cleaned better. The sheets were stained and dirty, and the walls in the bathroom just needed to be scrubbed down. But it’s well worth the stay for the money. There isn’t a laundry room which made things harder but the location was amazing. Right next to shopping and not far from the beach."

"We stayed at the Compass Margaritaville for our wedding anniversary. The staff were so kind, the room was super comfortable and clean, and I would rate our entire stay 10 stars. Summer the bartender was amazing and Jeff was so kind and welcoming at breakfast. The front desk staff were all pleasant and management was very professional and kind. One of the best hotel stays we've had!"

"I've been going to this hotel for years, and was worried that by de-franchising they might offer a diminished product. The truth is that the opposite happened. The staff was friendlier than ever, the hotel cleaner and better maintained, and the experience was lovely overall. Good location, easy to enjoy Swansboro or Emerald Isle from this centralized location."
