“Staff was curious, room was clean though we had to kill small lizard which had crawed a cross our bed. Our only issue was the bed. It was old and huut our back after being there for only 2 days. The other issue is location. This hotel is off the beaten path. The cab driver had a hard time finding it initially. Took us 20 - 25 minutes to get to the ⛱ beach. Great price but the location to the beach a concern. ”

“This was our 5th time on the island , our first attempt non all inclusive which we had concerns about costs . The option having our own kitchen was perfect, beach chairs , cooler with dishes and ice packs to take to the beaches, our own out door space and a shared clean pool that was mostly to ourselves. Private gated parking and a quiet neighbour hood to get away from the louder palm beach area we are used too. Car is reccomended ,mostly everything was within 10 minute drive . The hosts were……

“The best thing about this property is Edmond. He is the best host I have had in my many years of frequent travel. What a guy. The place itself is great and the rooms and simple but worth the stay. “When we come to Aruba we usually stay Marriott. This time we decided to try Joia. It’s a new hotel. But that’s where the good things stopped. If you come to the beach too early no umbrellas or chairs are put out. Usually they’re starting to do that after 8-8:30 am. Also, if you didn’t come early enough the staff puts towels on the chairs claiming it’s for members only. So if that’s the case it should be advertised as such hotel. For members of some club only. Apparently if you paid $1,000.00……
