⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Experience and Zero Flexibility
I had to cancel my reservation due to a sudden case of pneumonia that made travel impossible. Unfortunately, the cancellation was submitted two days past the hotel’s deadline, and while I understand they were technically within their rights, I was still charged the full amount — nearly $2,500.
What made this especially frustrating was the complete lack of communication. The management did not respond to my messages, and they did not reply to Expedia’s attempts to contact them on my behalf. Given the circumstances, some level of flexibility or even basic courtesy would have gone a long way.
I’m deeply disappointed in how this was handled and would caution other travelers to be aware of the hotel’s strict policies and unresponsiveness.
