“Useful location but very close to the A30. Nice hotel/former coaching Inn with friendly welcome. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. The good size double room had a kettle with coffee bags, fan, hairdryer, iron and ironing board plus large TV.
The mattress was a bit too firm for our comfort though.”

“We came for a family night away to celebrate a birthday and we really found the hotel to be relaxed and friendly from the minute we got there.
Our room was clean and within minutes of checking in staff came in with a basket and bowls for our dog.
We had a few drinks in the bar area that evening which was busy due to football but a great atmosphere.
The breakfast was lovely and the choice was great.
We used the gym and spa and found the staff in the golf shop all to be extremely friendly……

“Very disappointing overall. Upon arrival, the receptionist couldn’t find our booking because it had been accidentally deleted by the reservation team. Thankfully, a helpful manager eventually provided us with a room.
The room itself was quite small, with tiny beds and a poor layout. The bathroom had a large, unused empty space, while the main room barely had enough space to place luggage on the floor. There was no fridge, and the decoration was very basic and uninspiring. Also had a strong……

“Don't let the pictures fool you. The swimming pool looks like a big bath tub. The room I had was on the second floor. The carpet in the hallway needs repacling. What really turns me off is the location of the extra toilet rool. It's located at the foot near the toilet bowl. It looks dirty. I have to ask for fresh rolls instead. Anyways, it's not worth the price. But after all, we are in the UK where everything is expensive.”
