“It was the perfect getaway for our ladies!! The house was just what we needed, peaceful and we loved the wrap around deck for our morning coffee and our evening glass of wine. The owners Larry and Sally were very gracious and made sure we had everything needed!! I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Galena!”

“The house was very welcoming and perfect for our stay. The three bathrooms worked great for our group size. We liked the location downtown and quick access to any part of town. “It was a great place for our girls’ weekend of old high school friends, with room for all 10 of us comfortably, including a few others who stopped by for a few hours one afternoon. Only suggestion would be to have one or two more chairs in that front parlor on the first floor. 60 yr old folks can only sit on the floor for so long… Loved the proximity to Main St, too. ”

“Nice home in a great location - close to the river, parks and downtown. It's a perfect size for a couple or a family. Lots of comfy seating upstairs in the living room. We visited over a hot weekend in July and the AC kept us cool and comfy - such a plus. The large windows overlooking a wooded area were lovely - we remarked how pretty it must be in fall or winter too.”
