"We were in Carlisle for a funeral for the mother of a close friend. The location was very convenient to where we needed to be and there is a restaurant across the road that has a wonderful breakfast! Rob was very helpful and was going to meet us but we arrived in town later than we expected so he just gave us the door code and then we called him when we got there and he went over everything pertaining to the tv and other things on the phone with my husband, if you are traveling with animals...

"This house was perfect for our family. The setup was exactly what we needed for graduation weekend. Convenient to everything in Gettysburg, easy parking, tons of fun games, and a huge backyard which we didn’t use but nice big you had younger kids. The owners were so nice and accommodation when my son left an expensive item behind. Would def recommend!"

"We checked in on a Friday afternoon and found Dans place easily and accurately as described. The unit is clean and roomy. Watch your head going upstairs to the 2 extra bedrooms where you will find a full bathroom as well. The kitchen has basically everything you would need to cook basic meals, however if you're making breakfast for a larger group, you may want to bring big skillets. "Our club held it's Annual Business Meeting here and the accommodations were perfect. The Host is friendly and gracious and attended to every detail. "Was in town for a Carlisle Event Weekend and very happy we stayed here as opposed to a hotel. House is super cute, very clean and has a beautiful setting. Very quiet with only sounds of nature. Great place to unwind after long days at the fairground. Enjoyed early mornings on the back porch looking at the scenery and the wild birds feeding their babies. Recommended if your planning to stay in the area."

"The home is on a hill with a spectacular view! So peaceful and lovely!! Coffee in the mornings sitting on the rockers listening to over 20 varieties of birds chirping was just wonderful, and saw deer! Very spacious as well! Highly recommend it!"

"Lovely well kept property. It has everything you need. Comfortable beds and convenient location. The only drawback is the front bedroom has LOTS of street noise. I used a fan for white noise and earplugs. It’s on a busy street. Fire Station is nearby too. Great park for kids across the street. Close to a few great restaurants within walking distance."

"I traveled and stayed for the weekend with 6 adults. If you have kids, this would be fine as we stayed in a premiere cabin. The bunk bed were tight for us. The sleeper sofa was uncomfortable with the bar in your back and the main bed was ok. The place was clean and the shower had a good amount of hot water. The TV couldn’t get a signal to work. The place overall needs some TLC, but it was overall just ok. "
