“We stayed for one night, also having dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely and clean, the dinner and breakfast were both freshly cooked and delicious. It was great to see the bar /restaurant buzzing with locals and others staying there. Staff were really helpful. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay and located well for exploring. ”

“Great location, fairly clean hotel but it has seen better days. Decor and furnishings worn and faded. Hot water wasn’t working in our shower so ended up having a cold shower- we were offered another room to use the next day but we only stayed one night. Staff were amicable and breakfast was a standard full English. Definitely on the cheaper end of budget hotel.”

“Very good continental breakfast and restaurant meal . Nice atmosphere in pub with lots of customers. Big car park but limited spaces on the Saturday evening.”

It was 200 miles from my stay in Cornwall, so I stayed after visiting two tourist spots, on my way home. Negatives Woken up in night by a talking sensor outside (4am to 5.30am) Walls……
