“Easy to find and easy to park. Lovely helpful staff. This is a huge pub with a night access door which saves having to keep going through the pub. Plenty of outside tables. Comfortable clean room, but no air con. Everything you need with enough plugs including by the bed. The quilt was very heavy and the room was very warm, so it would be good to have a choice of bedding. Our room was at the front on the first floor and was quite noisy. “Hannah and Kendal were extremely helpful to us when confused with booking, Hannah rearranged everything to suit our needs, thank you Hannah. Everything from start to finish was really great and made our diamond anniversary break even more special for us. Even the weather was good so we could go out and about with no problem. “Lovely old building, beautifully clean and comfortable. Steve and Fiona were very welcoming and kind. Also, they cooked a mean breakfast from a varied menu. It was delicious. The only downside was the lack of parking outside The Bakehouse. It proved to be very difficult but the upside was that approx 60 yards away was a Car Park for only £3.30 for 24 hours! Highly recommend The Bakehouse if you are planning a visit to East Devon.”

“We needed somewhere to stay with our dog and this limits your choices. However, the Golden Fleece was very clean, good supply of refreshments in the room, shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. They even supplied a fan to cool the room, although it wasn't great, it shows a level of care and consideration for guests and was appreciated. The owners we met were friendly and I would definitely consider staying again if we visit the area again. Only negative is they need to remove the cobwebs……

"在火車站對面，地點非常方便，亦有充足泊車位。房間寬敞，亦保留了一些舊火車站的痕跡。整體感覺頗舒服，亦包早餐，可惜是沒有冷氣。如果七八月的時間到來要認真考慮。另外亦不適宜開窗，因為近火車站，所以每當火車到站旅客出站的時候是可以頗為嘈吵的。"
