“Very large room with tons of cable channels and fridge/microwave. Breakfast was decent with many options and staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Great value.”

“none of the pictures on this site is real or accurate. they are air brush or straight up a different hotel! room was dirty, hair in the fridge, sheets dirty, the bathroom had goo coming out the walls, ripped carpet and the windows would not lock, not safe at all. we cancelled our and left! ”

“I am from the SE Iowa area and when I come home for a visit I always stay at the Hotel Ottumwa! I've been going there for breakfast since I was a little girl. Best stay around and such a beautiful building. Staff is great and the food is amazing!”

“This is my family's second stay and we absolutely love it! The owners are super friendly and always asking if everything is okay. The rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and always fresh and hot. The hot tub is amazing! When I travel to Iowa this is the place to stay!”

“Our bathroom wasn’t clean. Used cotton swabs behind the trash can. Hair all over the tub. Pool under construction. Counter lady was nice and helpful when I told her my issues. She said the manager would give me additional points on my account however I have not seen any.”

“Property was new and very nice. There was a place to eat within walking distance that was convenient. The person who checked us in was okay, but lacked friendliness and when both the TVs in the lobby did not work, she was unhelpful and did not make any effort to resolve the issue. ”
