“This guest house was just right for our weekend stay near family in Lancaster. Super clean, plenty of supplies in the bathroom and kitchen, air mattress for our 4th person, and we were able to bring our dog with us, which was great. Good communication with host, too, so we had everything we needed. ”

“My husband & I enjoyed a quiet relaxing weekend away at this cozy cottage. We visited a nearby farmers market to make our suppers and breakfasts while we were there. A Wolfe sanctuary, pretzel factory, the outlets & many other great sites. This was the perfect place to call home for a couple days. ”

“The owners of the property carefully thought through all the amenities provided. We had what we needed for a very comfortable stay. We didn't think we needed an old school arcade until we had one! Place was wonderfully decorated, felt very welcoming. Communication with owners was easy. Only thing I didn't quite anticipate was the high deposit and how long VRBO holds the deposit before refunding back (14 days). Other than that, we hope to return when we're back in the area.”

It is a short distance away from Blur Marsh Lake which has lots of good trails. ”

“My friends and I spent 3 nites at this cute little cottage. The location is terrific! Everything was spotless. The beds were very comfy, plenty of blankets nice pillows. We loved going back to the house after a hard day of shopping and playing. The cottage is on a main road so there was some traffic we enjoyed hearing and seeing the buggies go by. The traffic noise quiets down at night. The hosts were quick to respond to texts and we even got a delicious loaf of bread and some home made peanut……

“We would stay here again. It was in a nice location with privacy. The outdoor space was amazing. We did not like that the door to the downstairs area did not lock/shut securely. It was a sliding door. We were able to accommodate for that small issue! It was a nice getaway for our anniversary. ”

“Overall, the stay was pretty good. The house was well kept and beautiful. I just wish the owner was a bit more responsive because the heat in the house was not consistent. It was 20 degrees outside and no matter what you changed the thermostat to, the top floor felt like a sauna and the bottom floor was freezing. When we were sleeping, we had to open the windows of the bedrooms to not get smothered by heat, and it was specifically unbearable in my case being on the top bunk, near the ceiling……

“We were looking for a quiet home tucked away in the Amish farmland, yet with easy access to all the area has to offer. This home turned out to be everything we had hoped for. It’s set back from the main road overlooking the local farms. The home itself was immaculately clean, comfortably furnished with a spacious feel. “We had a fabulous time in this quaint cabin near the pond. It was clean and comfy. We had our pup who is 14 yrs old with us - he loved walking around the yard and exploring the property. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening to unwind. The only thing is that there is no wi-fi if that is something you need. We were fine without it because we did have cell service. Would totally recommend this cute rustic cabin to our friends and family. There are great restaurants to try out and shopping. ……

“Best possible outcome! I took my 90 year old aunt and she was able to get around well in the house. No large transitions for her to navigate. We didn’t stay as long as we would have liked but we will be back! Host is awesome! She brought a treat on our last day. ”
