“Beautiful home away from home while sightseeing DC. Conveniently located in a safe neighborhood. We walked to the National Mall, Capitol, and Smithsonians. We also caught the bus once, easily done near the house. Wecaught ride shares home a couple times too. We parked our large Expedition out on the street as promised in the listing. “House was pretty easy to find. The off street parking made a huge difference as the streets were always packed. Super close to the metro stops too. Only downside is the kitchen has very minimal pots, pans, and baking sheets for cooking. ”

“There are no photos of the amazing backyard and steps covered in plants that lead to the door, it was a hidden surprise this close to an urban area. The lilies were open and the back porch was divine. My friend and I travel the country following a band, and this host has been my favorite thus far. She is very knowledgeable on the area and how to get around, as well as having tips on where to eat close by.
