This was beautiful and quiet, a perfect long fall weekend. A traditional northwoods cottage but a little nicer, I think. Hosts nearby but respectful of our privacy. Loved it, would stay again.

Northwoods Tranquility!

Loved this cabin from the moment we saw it. The location was perfect and the view from the cabin is beautiful. I think this is one of the cleanest and best supplied places that we have stayed in. The owners are super nice people that live next door. They are very helpful but not intrusive. Now that we're home we're already missing the peace and beauty of this very special place.

Perfect Northwoods Cabin

One of the best places we have ever stayed in Wisconsin. Cabin was very clean and had great views of the lake. The dock and floating patio (pontoon boat) were great for relaxing and for fishing. We had a boat but caught most of our fish off the dock. The cabin is classic. It has every modern convenience, but still retains its authenticity. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would stary here again.

Peaceful coexistence

The cabin was GREAT but the highlight was the deck and the floating patio (a decommissioned pontoon boat attached to the pier) - peaceful places to sit and enjoy quiet nature on some beautiful fall days. The kitchen had very up-to-date appliances and was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and small appliances necessary for modern life. We hope to return, soon.

Perfect start to our holiday

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We flew in from Switzerland a day earlier, but Uncle Bill's provided us with the perfect start to our holidays in Wisconsin. The property was the perfect size for our family of 3, loved the outdoor areas and patio for looking out to the lake, and the fishing from the pier was excellent. The owners live right next door, and they were really friendly and great meeting and spending time with. Comfortable distance back to St. Germain, had deer on the property every day about the same time, and was really happy there was a fish cleaning table. Great property!

Uncle Bill's Cabin

The Cabin is so clean and everything you could ask for in a nice quiet retreat to the Northwoods. The hosts are two of the nicest people and their hospitality is second to none. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a great place to stay on Little Saint Germain Lake.

Quaint and comfortable house on the lake

We had a great family vacation. We loved learning about the the history of the land and Uncle Bill and his house. The place was very clean, had a gorgeous porch with ample seating and an amazing view. There was plenty of space for the kids to roam outside. There are two firepits and we had access to a sandy beach area and floating patio right on the water. Super friendly and kind hosts (had some homemade bread and note in our fridge upon arrival). Host lived next door and checked in a couple times, but we felt like we had our privacy. All the windows opened so we had great cool lake breezes all day and night. Ceiling fans throughout as well. Quintessential "up north" experience.

Wonderful Get Away!!!

Vaca on the Little Lake

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our first stay in East Bay and it was wonderful! We needed a vaca more this summer than all the rest. We saw the eagles several times a day directly from the deck, and got visited by several other wildlife throughout our stay. Fishing off the pier we caught several crappie and the cabin was so comfy and breezy, it was perfect for napping. Super kind owners, only 2 miles to town, peaceful, very clean, extra box fans in the closets. Bring your DVD's - otherwise the books, puzzles, cards - there is a nice assortment. Go early to the Flea Market on Monday morning!

When we checked in, we got to meet the owners of the property and they were extremely hospitable during our entire week. The cabin was very clean and everything we could have imagined. Great lake views and great fishing.
