St. Laurent Centre Tours

As a family of four, we had a great stay. We used the two bedroom suite so the kids had one room and we had the other room. Definitely a dated hotel, but had everything that we needed and everything was clean and taken care of. The pool was great with the hot tub in the sauna. The only thing that was annoying is that we didn’t know that we had to pay for parking separately so that was a surprise that we didn’t enjoy having when we first got there. Other than that, we had a great time.

Pros: Absolutely the location is the best! Literally walking distance or easy transit from a to b. We walked everywhere with a 3&4 year old.Makes up for the other less fortunate parts of this hotel. Staff were super helpful! Called front desk for more of many things as a family of 4 required extra towels and coffee and they came to the door within minutes! They held the elevator as we had a double wide stroller and a handful. Cons: luck of the draw but kids running around being behind disrespectful, yelling, leaving garbage in hallways and crumbs. Not the hotels fault but a huge nuisance with young kids at 11pm. Rooms: super small even though sleeps 4. No room for anything. We only had a few bags and a large stroller so if you had luggage not sure where it would go? Travelling with kids and a huge stroller for storage was a challenge- had to be folded and always in the way. We spent our days out so luckily we weren’t in the room often but we are 2 adults and 2 kids and it was cramped. Beds: not comfortable, and a tiny double? Pool: not the cleanest, no towels and stairs were extremely slippery ( poor design flaw) also no necessarily the staffs fault. We had a double room and would have loved a view- so be sure to ask for an outside view of the terrace or city side. (We also didn’t know what the exterior window would be facing) Parking: awful! Just save the hassle and park across the street at the Rideau Centre Parking. Easier, safer and super easy access.

Amazing location in the heart of Ottawa. You’re right in the middle of all the great things to do in Ottawa and it’s all in a short walking distance. Great spot, spring for the valet parking as it’s worth not having to walk to your vehicle offsite.
