They range from hit Broadway musicals, such as Chicago and Jersey Boys, to adaptations of Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and other Disney classics. Legendary actors Cary Grant, Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Carol Channing have all graced the stage during the theater’s century-long history.
Purchase tickets in advance to guarantee the best seats in the house or take a chance with the free seats program. For every show, the theater releases about 1,450 free tickets for seats in the last nine rows on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early for pre-show entertainment and activities at the theater’s Lichtenstein Plaza, West Lawn and Pavilion.
Groups of 15 or more people attending a show can join a free pre-performance backstage tour. The theater is one of several attractions in Forest Park. Take the light rail to Forest Park-DeBaliviere station and walk for 20 minutes or pay the fee to travel by shuttle bus. Parking is free on show days.
