“Rooms where clean and well maintained. Sadly food was poor, we ate in the restaurant on the first evening, one meal was over cooked while my lamb was very chewey. Breakfast on day 2 was poor, they said it would be cooked to order but it looked and tasted like it had come from the buffet they had just cleared from a coach party. The staff were variable some abrupt and others went through the motions but werent enjoying their jobs??!”
“This was a perfectly acceptable stay.
Some changed to the rooms were noted...great showers, new curtains. But same old furniture and carpet.
Breakfast was more than adequate...just lacking in a bit of finesse. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Handy location for my visit.
Would recommend and would return.”
“The prefect stay. Staff were very friendly, the room and public areas were spotless. The bar and meal service was fantastic and the quality of food was excellent.
A beautiful building, a lovely place!! 10 out of 10”
“Staff were all lovely and also excited to greet our toddler. Lodges were incredibly cozy, worth booking less so in the summer as heating options were available but no cooling options if it's a particularly hot season.
Hot tub was great to relax in after day trips out or if with children and dropping them off at the soft play facility (look to book a time slot in advance).
Pool and gym facilities were well kept and had good options.
A specific bit of praise to Helenann from the cafe for……
“We thought we had booked a room for 3 adults for one night turns out it was only booked for 2 and we had to pay an additional £175 for an extra person. Thought it was a bit steep. Had an early flight and although there was some breakfast choice available, it would have been better if there had been take away cups for coffee and some muffins or pastries just to grab and go. Fiona who checked us in was very pleasant although we weren't too happy to have to pay the additional £175.”
“This is a fantastic little bed and breakfast, the hosts Una and (hubby) are wonderful and the room was huge for only me lovely shower and soft Towels and white crisp bedding , breakfast was great fresh fruit ,cereal ,and a good Scottish fry up,Yorkshire tea 😊.I was also given some of una's pavlova on my return from Aran which was just what I needed after a long walk and a cool dip in the Blue pool, value for Money too.A real find for me in a lovely wee village.”
“The Lynnhurst Hotel is a lovely, welcoming hotel that I would happily stay at again. It was well presented and clean, and all the staff I interacted with were helpful, friendly and always willing to go above and beyond.
My room was comfortable, well equipped and had everything I needed for my stay. Breakfast was an added bonus, with plenty of choice and a good selection available.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the Lynnhurst Hotel.”
