“I stayed here after flying in to Bangor and again before flying out to get back home. This hotel is close to the airport and provides a free shuttle. The Blue Sky restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is super convenient for travelers, arriving at “in between“ times. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. ”

“The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient.”
