“I was delighted to find the appearance of the hotel to look like a 1950's motel. It was so appropriate since we were going back in time to see Mt. Airy (Mayberry). However everything was clean and new looking. The continental breakfast was wonderful with buttermilk biscuits like Grandma use to make. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. It was a great trip and the hotel made a positive difference.”

“Property has seen better days. The ice machine on the first floor was literally full of dirt and I had to find a different one. The breakfast was the worst I’ve seen at a low-cost hotel ever. No options to purchase any items from the front desk like you would find at a Marriott property. I also don’t really care for this neighborhood and area. it didn’t feel very safe.”

“Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. Also, allthough Three Trails does notify guests that no elevators are on the……

“The Surry in is a nice place to stay overnight on our trips from PA to Florida. Everything is older but clean and everything worked.”

“Our hosts were so kind and hospitable! We loved the quaint, cozy and clean cottage. The location was perfect with easy access to hiking and other local attractions. We definitely plan to go back to do more hiking and exploring!”

“This great property in pilot Mountain was in the back of the pharmacy on Main Street which made it private and quiet but only steps from the downtown area of shops and restaurants. We loved the arrangement of space and decor of the property and it was one of the best rentals we've ever had. Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!”

“The apartment was perfect for our stay in Mount Airy, NC. It was clean, the owner communicated with us when needed, abundance of towels were provided, and the area was very quiet.If you’re up for a long walk, it’s a great location for Main St. It was a little further than what we thought but it was fine, free parking on the main drag.”
