The lobby and our room were lovely (clean, well-appointed). The beds and pillows were great. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. We will definitely stay here again.”

By the way, we'ad booked for 4 nights for 2 rooms , but the front desk sent us an invoice and asked us to check-out (paid everything upfront)on the 4th morning; although we're more than happy to leave it, but who is going to return me the difference?”

“Front desk recommended a local Italian restaurant that was real good and close to the hotel. There was also some shopping nearby; Ross, Famous Footwear, Bath & Body, etc.”

“My room was mostly clean (water rings on some of the furniture that were sticky), but overall satisfactory. It was quiet and comfortable. I liked the layout including a sitting area with a desk. The architecture was beautiful (Frank Lloyd Wright). It’s a bit dated, but not awful. Close to Mason City’s downtown which is so quaint and totally walkable. Lots of history and beautiful architecture. I highly recommend if you want to hang out for a day or two.”

“Loved the kitchenette option which had a few fishes to use. Bring your own seasonings. Deck with chairs was pleasant. Room was clean and easy to find.”

“Hot breakfast was AWESOME. Had trouble with the key card would not open the door. Staff tried with different cards, no luck. Staff reset the system everything worked. Still was frustrating. Overall ADEQUATE. 3.5- 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
