"The facilities themselves were nice, the place is cute, and it was clean. It was well equipped with cooking items. However, there was not adequate access to the beach. There was a huge metal gate with a padlock that was randomly closed at various times which made it so that we had no way to get to the beach. I messaged the contact person multiple times and they just kept telling me to look into the book and that the instructions were there. There was nothing that talked about a huge metal gate...

"We had a wonderful two-week stay here. The condo was extremely clean and well-appointed, with everything we needed to cook and do laundry. The AC unit was great—after a long day out in the heat, it was a relief to return to the condo and have a cold, local juice and cool off. TV was perfect for unwinding in the evening and the look and decor of the condo was chic and classy. Location was very quiet and we felt safe here. Mostly school kids walking around here. "I was impressed with the Maitai Express. Coming to Tahiti I had stayed in a different airport hotel and was extremely disappointed. I changed my reservations on my return to Tahiti but wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised, it was wonderful. Staff was amazing, cheery & helpful. Room was clean, lovely, soooooo comfy & the a/c worked perfectly. You can't beat the location for ferry to Moorea, cruise ship terminal & airport. Also great options for restaurants & shopping within walking distance. "

As you drive onto the property, you’re greeted with a grandiose building with a large opening in the middle that flows to a lagoon like pool, stretching to the ocean. Thoroughly enjoyed our junior suite, they gave us a beautiful view of the ocean and your property."

"The room and bathroom facilities were clean and the bed was comfortable, but no drinking water or tissues were provided. The continental breakfast was good, but it ends at 09.00 hrs, which strikes me as rather early for holidaymakers. No other meals are offered, so guests are obliged to go elsewhere to eat. I walked to the supermarket and bought food to eat on my lanai, but there are also food trucks about a 15-20 minute walk away. Twice during the morning of checkout a maid tried to enter my room without knocking. Fortunately I lock my doors, so she could not get it. No staff should enter any room without knocking and there is no need for cleaners to knock on guest goors before the 11.00 hrs checkout time. "
