"Very clean, new cabin, with stunning views! My wife and I spent most our time in the cabin on the patio, a good cup of Whiskey Morning Coffee and that sunrise! Let's just say i was so in awe I forgot to take a picture. My sons and I really enjoyed hanging out playing pool! Definitely recommend! "

"I can’t say enough good things about the property and the hosts… beautiful views, plenty of lake access and convenient location to all of the nearby attractions. And to hear the wolves at night was a special treat! Highly recommend and will be returning again and again… be sure to give Red and Xena plenty of loving!"

"It was a nice and quiet place. But pool ( that help me decide on this listing) was undercontruction. My grandkids was very disappointed. Host was nice, he had to come 40 minutes awy to fix air conditioner. Breaker was off and the thermostat was almost impossible to get to. Host gave us directions for better roads into town and that was very much appreciated. "

"My daughter and I needed a place to stay for her in-person registration at Carson-Newman.The Lodge was so close, we could have walked so it was super convenient. We stayed in the Magistrate Room and it was gorgeous. You could tell the renovation was recent because scoring looks brand new. Despite the newness, it still has a lot of charm. "We loved how the house had a big yard nice mountain and lake veiws ! Fire pit and a deck to sit on with a rocking chair !"

"Arrive a little past check in time. Did not know how to get in. Finally got key code and it was wrong, so cleaning lady brought us a code. We got in, started looking around and bed was filthy and we pulled out couch bed and could not find the linen or pillows. Finally found them stuff away in coffee table. Biggest complaint of all was the insects. Floor had ants all over it. We had to buy some spray, but it did no good. We had to put everything up high so ants didn’t get into luggage. There was...

"We were not given instructions for what to do upon arrival. Property Manager did not answer phone and voicemail box was full. Called VRBO for help and they had the wrong entry code. When we finally got inside, there were dead centipedes everywhere. We had to vacuum, but they kept coming out so we picked them up and flushed them the whole time we spent there. "While looking for a place to stay this apartment popped up. It was last minute so I thought why not. It was a nice location easy to get too. I really liked it being close to Douglas Lake because upon our return in the evening you got to see the sunset over the lake. The ice cream shop that is across the street is pretty good. "We drove around the hotel two times and had to get out and ask where the lobby was. Check in was great and staff was wonderful. Our room was clean. Shower was weak. Tough to regulate the temperature, the drain didn't work well and the water pressure was equivalent to five camels spitting on you. Other than that, out stay was great. "
