We stayed at this property a year ago and decided to stay again while in the area.Unfortunately, the property was not as I remembered. The room had an overwhelming smell of food. The beds did not feel clean. The bathrooms were also not cleaned properly, the bathtub felt grimy and I put off because the shampoo (which was clear and bubbly in the past) was a weird green opaque color which did not lather at all. I know this was not the shampoo that was currently being used by the hotel bc I requested a new bottle which had a totally different product in it/ one that was clear, lathered and was quite pleasant. I’m not sure if someone refilled the bottle or if this was a fluke but it was gross. Also the trundle mattress cover had several questionable stains as well as the extra pillow for the pull out sofa. I was amazed at how much “ wear and tear” this property has incurred since our visit in June of 2023. The TV would not power on, also the cabinet door right below the ice bucket and coffee service was slightly ajar and would not close properly. It’s unfortunate because the hotel had the potential to be very comfortable but it just felt like it needed a good cleaning and some basic upkeep.I would be scared to use a black light to test the cleanliness of the room. But beyond the room itself, the common areas also needed some maintenance. The furniture was quite scuffed up and just worn. The thing this hotel has going for it was the friendly staff and the convenient location.

Our room wAs spacious and clean. Breakfast was crowded and choices were slim because they didn’t keep up with the demand. No fruit, no breads, no jelly, no coffee. Replenished later.
