“I stayed one night. It was ok. Room was relatively clean. Could use a good deep cleaning. Corners of room was not that clean. The shower head was crusted over with calcium or something crunggy looking. No breakfast. Didn’t use ac. The temp in room was fine. The computer system was down so I had to wait close to an hour to get checked in. The price was way too high for what you get. I don’t believe I would stay again. ”

“It's not a perfect 5 out of 5. It is the best room you'll find in Vicksburg at this price, IMO. Clean room, friendly staff, and very comfortable bed. Only one of two elevators was working, but a repair crew was on hand. I didn't try the restaurants, preferring the options that are downtown. I would definitely stay here again when need a room for the night.”

“Truly one of the most disgusting reservations I have ever made on Expedia. The entire property is filthy - greasy floors, trash behind the curtain, smoky pillows, sticky carpet and even graffiti on the furniture in the room with things scratched into it. The staff very fine and very pleasant. I recognize that this is located to be convenient to the casino across the road, but it was truly too awful even for a night. We could not find an alternative. This is on me for leaving it till late. We had……

“The lady that was working the night we checked in was excellent. She gave us free reign of any of the amenities we would like to use. She also told us the story of the house and where to eat in town.”

“Latonya was so gracious as our host. She was very welcoming and served an amazing breakfast which was welcome after sleeping in such a historic home.”

“Arrived at hotel and room was already prepaid. Took staff member at front desk over 30mins to check me in. She could not figure out how to check in a prepaid room from expedia. The next morning I check and she has charged me a second time for the room aswell. All the elevators were broken and the room was old, outdated and not very clean. As someone for loves IHG hotels, this is the worst one we have ever stayed at!”

“Wonderfully historic property in downtown Vicksburg! The check-in was a bit confusing, but the room was fascinating, as was the entire property. Kudos to the owners for preserving it.”

“Arrival had to wait for someone to come to the front desk for a good 5-7 minutes. Elevators unclean, with odor. Studio/kitchenette room for two guests: one chair at desk their for where are you supposed to sit down to talk and enjoy your meal together. Staff are polite when you do see them speaking of the husband and wife team. Housekeeping I had to wipe down the walls, toilet and dust from headboard and etc”
