“We stayed at the Lifehouse for 2 nights. The grounds, although a little tired from this summer's drought, are spectacular, with plenty of quiet space to walk among trees and around the beautiful lily pond etc. Sadly the outside of the buildings range from unpreposessing to downright ugly, perhaps similar to a medical facility. Food both at dinner and breakfast, is consistently above average. Most staff are pleasant and helpful. The hotel buildings are something of a maze so moving between room……

“Went to Clacton on Sea to visit family and stayed one night at this lovely hotel. The owners were unbelievably friendly and have been in business since 1963. I’ve never seen such a beautiful clean bathroom and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. The breakfast was included and was unbelievable homemade with such an incredible amount of items to choose from and delicious. Apparently the owner cooks it up himself. . I parked right outside the door, which was amazing and very safe and secure as you have……

“Michael was great as a host and had terrific communication. The unit is spacious and well laid out. The only issue was the couch. It looked great but was uncomfortable. The propertv is a block away from the entertainment district. Perfect place for a weekend get away. ”

“Had a lovely time in Clacton with the family and grandchildren. Caravan was situated in a quiet place. Grandchildren loved it there. Easy to get hold of the host. Will return in the future.”
