"Room was very clean and tidy. It looked lovely too! Staff friendly. I was pleased with my stay. Of course it’s near the airport so a little noise from air traffic but it didn’t bother me. I’m a light sleeper and it didn’t wake me up. I’d stay here again. Plenty little shops and restaurants on the door step too, although beach is a little walk about 1km as you cannot walk the shortest route due to there being another hotel in the way. "

"Located just down a side road next to the larger Dolphin Bay, Long Beach Inn is an 11 room property with a nice pool area. Breakfasts are included snd they also offer lunch/dinner and room service.
Bram, the owner, is very pleasant and will offer to take you to the shops, or the local bus stop, which are about 20 min drive away.
We were there just after rainy season so many places to eat were still closed or only open weekends, but quiet didnt bother us.

"The rooms were HUGE, and staff excellent. Be aware, this old building does not have an elevator. My family friend, 79 years old, had a difficult time with the stairs. It was my fault not catching this, but other than that, The Irish Clock is a gem.
I don't drink alcohol when in TH, but my friend does, so the bar downstairs was great. We ate at the restaurant twice and both times were spot on! I had the fish and chips both times, and couldn't finish my plate.
Internet worked well, air con...

"Did not like anything!!! Poorly lit street, dark empty abandoned buildings across street, hotel is old and dated, dark hallways lights work off of motion sensors, you cannot take your room key with you, you must leave your key at front desk when you go out, old broken furniture, small rooms dingy and musty, no curtains just a louvre door, street noise, guest charge, poor tv channels, absolutely horrible!!! A rip off!!!"

"Отель находится в центре, близко к метро. На завтраки нас даже не пригласили, хотя были включены. В номере было достаточно чисто. Никакой живн ости не наблюдали. Пришлось спать на одной кровати. Сам отель находится рядом со стройками. Вид из окна был ужасный."

"It was an ideal location with friendly travelers to socialize with. The owners went out of their way to help and ensure a happy and comfortable stay. The home cooked food was delicious and priced well. "

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately our experience at the 5-star Valia Hotel Bangkok was extremely disappointing.
During our 2-week stay in Thailand, we stayed in several 4- and 5-star hotels, all with excellent service and amazing breakfast experiences. However, this hotel was by far the worst experience we had.
The breakfast was honestly terrible. The hotel should seriously reconsider both the breakfast chef and part of the rude staff. Serving simple bouillon and calling it “Japanese soup” is just lazy and unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. Food in the open kitchen area was carelessly thrown onto the serving platform, which looked very unprofessional and unhygienic.
The tea was already pre-made and left in large jugs, clearly to save on tea bags. This is not acceptable for a luxury hotel. The pancakes had the texture of gummy bears, and the chocolate spread was so hard that the spoon was almost stuck inside like cement.I have never experienced such poor breakfast quality in a 5-star hotel before.
To make matters worse, upon arrival we found blood stains on the bed sheets and red lipstick marks in the bathroom and bathtub. That should never happen in a hotel of this standard.
Very disappointing experience overall."
"Very nice hotel, very close to the airport, with a great 24 hour shuttle service. If you want to go with train to Bangkok city center, the train station is a short walk away.
The staff is very helpful, and we highly recommend staying here!"

"We had a pool-facing room.
(1) The constant disrespect of other hotel guests sitting on our bedroom steps into the pool, & being intimate with one another, was very annoying. Hotel guests should not be allowed to sit on any steps which is not outside their own bedrooms.
(2) Patrons having very loud get-togethers outside their bedrooms by the poolside should not be allowed. This is totally disrespectful towards other hotel guests.
(3) The private playing of excessively loud music by hotel guests in the pool area should not be allowed. Hotel guests pay top dollars for their hotel stay, & the decibel level of private music needs to be controlled.
All the above put a damper on our stay!"
