"The breakfast buffet was excellent. The head chef, Jan, did a terrific job. We also had a cooking class with Jan and Guide. It was very fun. We had a room with a swim out pool and it was very nice. The pool was an oasis. It was always clean and cool enough to be refreshing. We had a swim up bar. Ann was the bartender and we really appreciated her. She was quick and accommodating. The staff in all of the resort was so polite and friendly. We loved our stay at Sawasdee. "

"The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and explained everything thoroughly. The room was very clean and the shower had great water pressure. It was quiet at night, very peaceful stay. It was walking distance to shops, street food, the beach, and great massage parlors. It met and exceeded my expectations! "

"We loved our time at this hotel and will definitely return if we go to Phuket. The beach is so beautiful with a stand that has the sweetest fruit. The staff were very friendly. My only two improvements would be more vegan food at breakfast and in the restaurants. I think the breakfast areas could be slightly cleaner as unfortunately it’s open air so there are some flies And then some small improvements to the room, ours was one of the renovated premium rooms but it had some issues (shower flooded a little). Despite that, we would still come back as the staff were friendly, helpful and they took note of little things like giving us extra water, towels and moisturizer after us asking. The spa and sports amenities were a lovely plus!"

"Pool view room with the water on the balcony was a new experience. Room was brilliant, hotel was very well presented and clean. Pool area great, staff very friendly. Food ordered was fresh and lovely, breakfast good. Only reason for 4 stars is the location, the walk from the hotel to the centre is not too far, it's just how busy the main road is once out of the hotel. Having said that, shuttle is available and bolt is available."

"Breakfast menu was decent, lots of choices, didn’t have a beach view but wasn’t too bothered as it was a 5 second walk (across the road) from hotel. Very good value for money"

"The pictures shown on the hotel site gives you expectations of the hotel being close to the beach - but those pictures showing pools etc are for the residence NOT the hotel itself. It’s a long walk from the hotel through the gardens to the road and beach. Hotel is in need of a little modernisation and upgrade, but overall reasonable value for money. Primarily the hotel is 80% Russian guests. We never used the restaurants at the hotel, except breakfast which was good. Overall, probably wouldn’t stay again. "
