Late in the evening, we discovered a large wet, spongy spot on the floor caused by the fridge defrosting, and the cabinet beside it was already damaged from the water. The pool area looked decent at first glance, but despite cleaners coming in and out several times while we were there, the space wasn’t actually clean. There was visible dirt around the area and even a bandaid floating in the pool, which was disappointing. Right before checkout, we also noticed ants in the bed. For the price, we didn’t expect to encounter these kinds of cleanliness issues. I did notify the front desk about the room concerns, but not the pool, though that should be something staff would easily notice and address if they were paying attention. Overall, our stay was okay, but the cleanliness standards definitely need improvement."
