“I would say the room was great. It was clean and very spacious. The staff working in the office were very friendly and kind. The parking is plentiful and easy to access. The area around the hotel is quiet and calm. The only real consideration is that the area where this is located does not have much in the way of food options, shopping, or much else and the hotel staff and owners of course don't have anything to do with that. “We are so grateful we found this property. We were goi g to pay over 1000 for two rooms at the hotel down the road for two nights. Thankfully my sister found this as an alternative. It was so quaint and clean. It smelled good and everything looked brand new it was so well cared for. I could go on and on about the shower and how great the water pressure was. “My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Downtown Carriage House. The property is centrally located and easy to walk to the Art Park, downtown shops and restaurants. The property was clean and well equipped. Definitely recommend for a weekend stay in Charlottesville.”

“We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. ”
