"First time for us to stay in this hotel. Just the one night to attend a gig. Convenient location for the Train station and city centre. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Didn't use the bar or restaurant - but they looked really good. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This is our second visit since covid. The place is wonderfully quiet and the pool is good. What lets it down is the hotel and pool area could do with some TLC (and a few quid spending on it). It's a little bit tired & the external appearance shows when you take a closer look. Broken soffits in the newer part and the pool needs to be refurbished before it starts to rot. there was no body wash in the changing rooms and no warning till it was too late. However, there was plenty of tea and coffee and the staff were very friendly. "

"Great one night stay. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. I also loved the breakfast hamper in the room - the hotel doesn’t do a formal breakfast, however a very good hamper is provided in your room with granola, dried fruit mix, cornflakes, croissants and apples. There’s also tea/coffee, and milk and yogurt in the fridge. I thought this was a great idea and it was all included in the cost of the room. I would definitely stay there again. "
