“It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served in a box in our room with loads of choice, and fresh produce in a mini fridge which was lovely. The area is stunning. “Hotel was over booked, they did not respect my room. Booked me into another hotel.”

“Parking and check in were easy. We had to request a hair dryer and when that finally arrived we had noticed there was no tv remote control. So had to ask for that as well. The curtains were broken and hanging off the track in several places. The pipes made a squealing noise when the shower was turned on. Also the duvet was stained with red/brown spots (I believe it was laundered), I would expect housekeeping to notice this and discard the bedding with stains. The staff were very friendly and……

“位置偏僻但如果是度假的定位是可以接受的 這間飯店裝潢很有風格 房間舒適度應可以很高 但因清潔沒做好（前一晚有慶祝婚禮 我們的房間有一間有很重的狗臭味 另一間則是衛浴有臭味） 我個人覺得滿意 但住不同房間的同行友人卻覺得清潔沒做好而留下壞印象”

“Room was clean but very dated however for what we paid we can't really complain. Parking is free in onsite car park you just need to enter registration number at reception. We meet family for a meal, menu typical pub food but all perfectly acceptable and staff very pleasant. Walled outside seating area which was nice for having a drink as weather was warm. The hotel is on the high street so be aware that you will experience some traffic noise especially if your room is at the front. ”

“The hotel was good and clean with the rooms being of a good standard. One or two things could be better. The evacuation details on the back of the door was quite high up and small. This made it very difficult to read as I am only 5ft 6in tall. This became important as around 8.30pm there was a fire alarm.
