“AM front desk staff very rude and standoff-ish. Treated me like I was an idiot. Rooms were not clean, pubic hair all over the floor in the bathroom, sink dirty. Pool has been closed for 3 months (stayed there previously also… thought we’d give it another chance). Breakfast was actually very good with a lot of choices.”

“Had an issue with the key to my room. They reprogrammed it for me, but you had to almost juggle to get the door open. While tapping the key, you had to quickly turn the handle to get in. The refrigerator in the room did not work-the door was open and a towel sitting at the bottom. The drinks I bought had to be iced down in the ice bucket. Despite the signs indicating otherwise, there was no ice machine on the 2nd floor. Location was convenient to my business meeting, plus a gas/convenience store……

“The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We were in the area to kayak the Kickapoo River and the cabin was close to where we launched (about 8 mins). It was cozy to relax in after 12.5 miles of kayaking. We enjoyed sitting outside, seeing wildlife including a deer, and hearing an owl at night. We plan to be back!”

“They advertise a pool, but it is closed: drained and empty. The grounds are weedy and unkempt. The stairways and hallways are dirty. The room was clean, but there was a smudge (dirt, blood, feces?) on the bed spread that was obvious & should have been noticed by whoever cleans the rooms. Breakfast is abysmal. Housekeeping staff doesn’t speak English so it was difficult to covey what needed to be done regarding the dirty bed spread. Receptionist was friendly & helpful, however.”

“Pros: Hot tub and pool area were very clean and nice, easy parking, food nearby Cons: Room smelled musty, the floor had not been vacuumed, laundry dispenser had no detergent nor did the front desk so there was no way for guests to do laundry”
