The staff was amazing but the hotel was not worth the money spent

We stayed one night as a stopover. The bed was not that comfortable and the room could use some updating. It was clean though and the breakfast was not too bad. We stayed there mainly for the location. The parking fee was never discussed so was a surprise to us at checkout. It really should have been disclosed either by the staff at check in or when I filled out the online check in form. It was just deducted on our credit card and I noticed it once we were well on our way to our next stop. Left a bad taste.

Overall, a very clean property. Staff was very friendly upon checking and check out. Lots of breakfast options. Big runs on the outside were loaded with garbage, and really should have been picked up. We did see a family of raccoons right next to the parking lot, which was unusual, because we were right in town.
