Check in was easy. Beautiful view from the room. Beds comfortable and rooms quiet. The shower was wonderful!! Would love to see a better supply/brand of coffee and toiletries and maybe some bottled water.

Nice restaurants and some interesting shops. Neat little bookstore and art store. Classic little movie house called the Alamo. This is a convenient stop between Belfast and Acadia with the Knox bridge and Ft. Knox right across the harbor.

Was a pretty quiet town. Not much night life so good for a quiet restful visit.

A Great place to spend time in ~ get to know the local people - walk along the riverside trail. Very friendly and accommodating! Also, a great central place to other mid-coast areas.
