"We had a partial ocean view room on the 21st floor facing Diamond Head with a great view of Waikiki. The Park Shore Waikiki blocked our view of Diamond Head. The staff was very friendly. The location is EXCELLENT!! We checked out and hiked Diamond Head (reservation required) and left our luggage stored at the hotel. That worked out great since we were boarding our cruise ship much later in the day."

"This hotel is in a great location, just a few minute walk to the beach and an easy walk to the main street. Very clean and we had everything we needed. The balcony was fantastic. I would have loved to have a full-length mirror in the room and I didn't like the bathroom setup - in the shower area, taking a shower, there was nowhere to put your used and fresh clothes except the back of the toilet. Not all of us want to "show all" in the outside bathroom where the sink is and without a door for...

"Been to waikiki several times though a little construction one of best stays. Situated right one block from main street. Pool area newly renovated and beautiful if you prefer pool over beach. Walkable to everything 2 min to 5 min. The staff go above and beyond for guests. I would definitely stay here again looking forward to seeing new lobby renovations."

"I did enjoy the convenience of being close to the beach, however if you are a light sleeper I would not recommend this place as the noise from the daily karaoke bar that closes at 2AM is quite loud, not to mention the windows are only barred by metal pans. Sound travels very easily."

"Hotel was well presented and rooms were modern and clean and wifi was fast. Staff were also very polite and eager to assist. Breakfast was also included which was very handy and a good way to start the day. Would definitely stay there again."

"It's an old hotel being built in 1964. Our room was spacious and the ac worked well to combat the heat and humidity. There was no daily house cleaning and we had to ask for fresh towels. Valet parking was $45/night with in/out privileges. That's steep on top of tipping attendant each time you retrieve car. Location of hotel is convenient for walking to Ala Moana center and to Waikiki. "

"There was miss communication about parking and not enough detail when we booked that they charge $45 for valet and that there is no free parking but can park for $35 at another hotel about 4-5 blocks away. The pool was closed the entire time and that was not told to us either. Staff was nice and helpful. Our room was right by the elevators so we could hear everyone getting on and off. "This property is walkable to local attractions. They offered a breakfast that was a plus. Air conditioner didn’t work first night but they fixed that."

"We arrived at 8pm from Texas hungry and aggravated from the airport and first motel. The front desk clerk was kind and let me know there was food for another hour in the room and downstairs and we got parked and were relaxing with full belly’s by 9 am. Really great place, room, and food. Outstanding front clerks!!"

"i wanted to recognize the front staff for being kind & helpful. they asked me a reason for my stay & i mentioned i was celebrating for my birthday. the sweet lady checking me in gave me chocolates. i will always remember the generosity. & house keeping does light cleaning like changing towels & cleaning the bed! helped a lot when most of towels are being used for the pool. "

"Really good hotel. Stayed in Koa room which was spacious with well equipped kitchen. Small pool on roof, but just a few minutes walk from a great beach. And really well located for shopping and restaurants in Waikiki. Valet parking very efficient, including when leaving for an early flight. I’m sure there are more luxurious places, but this was very good and excellent value. I’d stay again."
