“Beautiful hotel with onsite restaurant, bar and coffee/breakfast shop. Historic building in downtown St. Louis in walking distance to City Museum, soccer, hockey and baseball stadiums, union station. Very nice room with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. We did not eat at restaurant but hostess, Meg, was very friendly. The bar was great - bartender was knowledgeable and attentive (young man). “Staying at this place was an experience in a way I have not had at the interstate motels. The Embassy was elegant and everyone was very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic with good hot food and fresh fruit like pineapple and watermelon chunks. You could even have an omelet made to order. The evening hospitality was in a nice comfortable area and a pleasant way to step away from the room without leaving the hotel.
