“This is a small but friendly hotel with a fondness for everything literary. We were drawn to it by its quirky theme and decor, something different from other hotels in the area. Desk staff and housekeeping were all very friendly, personable and helpful. It was nice to be able to walk into the attached coffee shop for caffeine and a breakfast sandwich. My wife appreciated that they have gluten free bread. ”

“Although the building is old, the overall atmosphere is very comfortable. Staff are polite and helpful. It is surprised to have breakfast provided if you are able to wake up early enough and the 24-hour beverage bar is always a nice facility. The only disappointing item is that we couldn't take any one glass of free wine even though we had spent two nights there as free wine could only be provided between 5 to 6pm; how could we come back to take it in the middle of the day while travelling in……

“First, we brought three large pieces luggage for this long trip. The hotel offered us a room on the sixth floor without helping us carry our luggage or even telling us how to go to the sixth floor. The highest floor the elevator could reach was the fourth floor, so we had to carry our luggage a long way up to the sixth floor using the stairs, and the next day, down to the first floor as well. Second, I’m a VIP member of Hotels.com, and the website clearly stated that this hotel would provide VIP……
