“Great location, excellent communication and response time from customer service, and great air conditioning! The bed was comfy and bathroom was well stocked with toiletries. The only downside is the room we stayed in (on the first floor) the bathroom shower is small/in the corner and the glass doors don’t make any sense. Should be sliding doors but instead they swing in and barely give room to walk in. If you’re bigger than 240lbs, hope you’re not placed in the same room as me.”

“We highly recommend the stay at Acro & Polis in Athens. It is very close to the historical spots. It takes only about 10 minutes for us to visit the Acropolis. The hotel is warm, clean and tidy. We especially love the balcony of the hotel - the Acropolis is just next to us! The host is very friendly. Whenever we had any problems or requests, he tried his best to help. He is such a sweet host that he has prepared some wine and chocolate to celebrate our honeymoon! :)”

"Overall, the hotel was very good and we enjoyed our stay. However, there was one major flaw that significantly affected our experience: the toilet in the room. The toilet seat is unusually small and round, providing insufficient space even for an average-sized adult. Frankly, I cannot imagine it being comfortable for many guests, especially larger European guests. Even as an Asian guest, I found it cramped. For male users in particular, the design leaves almost no room at the front when seated, making it genuinely uncomfortable to use. I was surprised that such a small toilet was selected, as it feels completely out of place in an otherwise well-designed hotel. The issue is not the bathroom size itself, but the choice of toilet. Whoever made the design or purchasing decision may have prioritized appearance over practicality. Unfortunately, it compromises everyday comfort in a way that guests notice immediately. I hope the hotel will seriously consider replacing these toilets with standard-sized models in the future, as this single issue was the most disappointing aspect of an otherwise excellent stay."
