TOKYO CITY VIEW HOTEL TABATA-STATION

TOKYO CITY VIEW HOTEL TABATA-STATION

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel had a lot of perks that made our trip overall very comfortable. The dining lounge with a microwave and cutlery made take out dinners with our group of 5 very convenient. You also get 1 drink vending machine token per guest per night so everyday before we headed out we grabbed a tasty drink to bring with us. There are multiple free to use laundry machines and 2 coin operated laundry machines. most of the time the free to use laundry machines were taken so we just used the coin laundry machines. The proximity to Tabata station was also very nice, just a stone's throw away from the Yamamoto line to get to the rest of Tokyo. We didn't use the gym or the onsen during our stay but they seemed very accessible. The hotel also has a lot of small items you can borrow like a clothing iron, luggage scale, charging cords and more. The room's are tight as expected for a central Tokyo hotel room, so just be mindful of how large of a suitcase you're bringing, you'll be storing it under your bed, which worked for our 2 carry ons, 2 backpacks, and then all the items we bought throughout the trip. They also provide comfortable pajamas which was a pleasant surprise."

After a ridiculous 22-hour delay to our incoming flight, the staff were incredibly accommodating to ensure we were able to check in after normal hours. The hotel is right next to Akabane Station which made trips a breeze. And the hot springs at the hotel is incredible. We'll definitely be staying there again!"

Almont Hotel Nippori

Almont Hotel Nippori

10/10 Excellent
"Everything was great. Can’t say the room is spacious but not bad considering it’s in Tokyo. The room we stayed was 17 sq m. We cannot imagine staying at rooms smaller than this one thou —seems it’s common for hotel rooms around 10-15sq m. 17sq m is the minimal that should have. The public bath on 3F was great too thou it’s not real onsen. I went almost every night. The sink in the room’s bathroom was very low for face washing and brushing teeth. I’m 160cm and still think the sink is low. Feel like that height is for kids. The location is super convenient. However, no Lawson nearby - there are a few FamilyMart nearby and one 7-11 right next to hotel."

"We had a room with a view of the Tokyo Skytree which was especially fun at night when it was all lite up! Our room was small but comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful especially as I learned to use their washer and dryer (which is free--all you need to provide is your own detergent.) The signage on the outside of the hotel could use an upgrade, it is small and we walked right by the hotel several times not realizing we passed it! They are also in the middle of a renovation so there was some construction. It is in easy walking distance of a metro line and local shops and restraunts."
