“What a wonderful little getaway right on the water. The hosts were very welcoming. The stocked Nespresso machine was a nice touch. My husband and I booked this as a quick trip to relax after a busy few months. The 2nd floor has a beautiful view of the water. “I was so impressed with this house! Besides being in a beautiful location right on a lake, the house was immaculate and had all the necessities and extras anyone could need while traveling. “Great location. Now the rest....If you're looking for a quiet place to stay in Houston, this is not it. Granted our stay was over Halloween weekend, but seeing that there are bars and clubs less than a block away leads me to believe that it's all the time. I guess I can say that the one good thing about this property is the comfortable beds. But bring earplugs because nights are extremely noisy. The No Party and Quiet Hours per the rules on the booking make it sound like it may be a quiet place……

“Not as advertised - photos are deceptive and the unit itself was not fit for tenants. It smelled strongly of mildew and chemicals, had multiple faulty (not working) electrical outlets, the wifi was not connected or active, the master closet was filthy, had a broom and dustpan full of dirt, along with various other items crammed in. When I pulled out the ironing board, it too was filthy (see photos). Also, the furniture isn't even the same as shown in the photos (rug and couch are shabby and……
