"We decided to stay here due to reviews and we were not disappointed! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and the king bed was comfy. They offered a variety of pillows which was nice! If they are too thick, one just has to untuck the end and shake it good. Problem solved. NOTE: The only downside was the night clerk , changed us from handicap accessible to a regular room without asking first. I did not want to make a fuss, so we accepted it. I have PSa and a handicap room is such a help to me. One review complained about not being upgraded to a suite. If you want this, then do not book online call the hotel and book directly. Then ask for an upgrade at the desk. Online booking CAN NOT be changed. Someone also complained: Water smelling like sulfur. Yes, it does and NO it is not contaminated. There are no lakes in this area to gather water. This city and others around it run off well water. YES, it is treated and you should smell it before it is treated. Not nice. It is okay to drink and bathe in and no you do not smell like sulfur after a shower, just soap. Speaking of which, they offer a lovely specialty soap to bathe with and Dove shampoo conditioner and lotion. Breakfast was nice and hot! They has a free “Continental” Breakfast, but it is really a full breakfast. Make your own waffles; Belgium and State of Texas. Syrup and butter. Two kinds of cold cereal. Juices. Milk.Eggs and Sausage. Muffins, make your own toast. Yogurt, fresh fruit. Coffee; regular "

"I love staying here because 1 of the beds but could still use a topper to make it perfect, 2 I never have any trouble with having my baby girl with me. She is a service animal. So makes it a lot better for me. "

"This is a beautiful property with excellent amenities to enjoy. Our visit was in the fall, which made the outside areas very relaxing. The full moon over the lake created a wonderful romantic setting. Accommodations were comfortable and very inviting.Great hosts!Steve"

"Friendly check in! Elevator broken but I needed to get my steps in so no complaints there. Room is clean. Breakfast we average. Coffee machine was nice with lots of options. Parking was plentiful. Staff were friendly. Would stay again. "
