It was clean, comfortable, and a good value for the price. No one was in the office when I arrived so I had to call the after-hours number, but then someone came to open the office door right away (it was like they were in a room next door). It's pretty much what I expected from a lower-priced roadside motel (nothing really good, nothing really bad). The decor was pretty dated, but it was cleaner than I expected.
Affordable, comfortable bed, hot water, and covered parking. We stayed for just one night and had no real complaints. No coffee maker. But the one block walk to ABC Coffee truck and the conversation with the young man making my pours was probably better for me, and I know the coffee was better than any hotel brew.
This was a cute place to stay! It is a little dated, but it adds to the charm. The room was clean and we were a short drive to several restaurants and shops. I would only like to recommend that they put a small coffee maker in the rooms and maybe update the heating system (it's a wall radiator)
This was my first vivit to Brookings and it is a very nice town. The owner, who checked me in, was great and really made me feel welcome. I definitely liked the covered parking. That would come in very handy when it rains.
Cute older motel. They have tried to keep it up but it is just an older motel. Cheaper furniture but the bed was comfortable. Sheets were poor quality and rough feeling. Owners were very nice but the office was smelly. They allow dogs but there is no place to take them to go potty.
Beds were amazing and we loved the atmosphere. Quiet and relaxing. The lady that owns this place was siper nice when we checked in. Price was on point as well.
