"I want to go too crazy for one day on our way back from San Diego County to the Bay area. Everyone that work that was pretty nice. Nice pool and a great jacuzzi. I do appreciate that they have coffee and tea and the lobby 24/7. It's very unassuming but our room was quite nice. We had a one bedroom. It was all so a roll out bed which my daughter appreciated. The location is unbeatable."
"It definitely felt like an Inn. Your room is out in the open so you can hear EVERYTHING (the street traffic, the pool, people walking around) and they don't have AC so you'll need to keep windows open if you're hot. So not luxurious at all. But the room we had was well kept and seemed super clean"

"Had a great family stay! Manager was very responsive to the one issue we had with hot water and fixed quickly. The property was clean overall but floors need a good cleaning (my feet got dirty inside the house). Location is excellent for walking to the beach, zoo, and state street. Downside is the noise from being right next to the train tracks and freeway. We would definitely stay here again."

"It was smaller than I thought, but was perfect for just me. It’s located very close to the beach and downtown pier and shops. The freeway traffic and train horn was not a big deal. I didn’t hear the freeway and only heard the train blow it’s horn a few times ( it was loud), but nothing after 10pm. "

"Wife and I wanted to have a nice getaway for just the two of us. We chose Santa Barbara primarily because of scenery and online reviews. This little VRBO was perfect for us, small studio apartment type of layout, 2 blocks from the beach, 5 minute drive or roughly 30 minute walk to funk town, pier, etc. The property was quiet, clean and perfectly located.They also provide a warning along with ear plugs due to previous complaints about a near by train. This was a very thoughtful gesture but we honestly can’t imagine how anyone would complain about the train noise, it was so negligible.100% would stay again if we return to Santa Barbara!"

I will echo what others have said about the shower as I was glad someone had previously reviewed and mentioned it so I could make my own decision- it is about 18-24 inches down without a safe way to step in and a large picture window which is uncovered. I had a plan to make that all work for me. There is no other option to shower otherwise. It may impact your decision to stay here. Having said that, I would still stay here again. Cute shops and yummy restaurants close by. search for Miramar and Butterfly beaches for off the beaten path areas to beachcomb. Thanks Fatima! "
